The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is an upcoming romantic-fantasy film scheduled for release on June 30, 2010. It is based on Stephenie Meyer's Eclipse and will be the third installment of The Twilight Saga film series, following 2008's Twilight and 2009's New Moon. Summit Entertainment greenlit the film in February 2009. Directed by David Slade, the film will star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, reprising their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, respectively. Melissa Rosenberg will be returning as screenwriter. Bryce Dallas Howard will play Victoria, replacing Rachelle Lefevre who previously played her. It will be the first Twilight film to be released in IMAX.

Plot:

Summit Entertainment released a plot summary of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on February 20, 2009, which states:

"As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death."

Main Characters

* Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, who finds herself surrounded by danger and targeted by the vengeful vampire Victoria. In the meantime, she must choose between her love for vampire Edward Cullen and her friendship with werewolf Jacob Black.

* Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, Bella's vampire boyfriend who can read minds, except for Bella's. In New Moon, Edward left Bella, and now he has returned to try to stay a part of her life.

* Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black, a werewolf in whom Bella found solace in during New Moon. Now, Edward has returned into Bella's life permanently, and Jacob is looking for ways to prove that he is better for her.

* Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen, a member of the Cullen family who can see "subjective" visions of the future and who is close friends with Bella.

* Elizabeth Reaser as Esme Cullen, a loving mother figure of the Cullen coven.

* Kellan Lutz as Emmett Cullen, the strongest member of the Cullen family, and provides comic relief

The film, based on the show Avatar: The Last Airbender, tells the story of Aang, a young man who has to bring peace and balance back to the four nations of the world after a war breaks out and wreaks havoc on the world.

Synopsis: Water. Earth. Fire. Air. In the old days, there was peace between the four nations of the world. The Avatar -- Master of all four elements -- kept peace between the the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads. Only the Avatar has the ability to Bend (manipulate) all four elements, but one day, he Vanished. Then the Fire Nation attacked, forcing a war on the other three nations for one hundred years. Now, for the good of the world, it's up to 12-year-old Aang (Noah Ringer), the new Avatar, and the last of the Air Nomads (Airbenders), to return peace and balance by putting an end to the war and mastering all four elements. When in Rome - Kristen Bell

Gossip Girl herself, Kristen Bell (Heroes, Veronica Mars), is starring in the upcoming romantic comedy "When in Rome."

When in Rome is about a successful and single art curator (portrayed by Kristen Bell) who went to Rome to attend her younger sister’s impulsive marriage. While there, she picks up coins from a reputed “fountain of love,” (probably based on the Trevi Fountain) and when she leaves she is pursued back to New York by a band of aggressive suitors whose coins she took.

The film is directed by Mark Steven Johnson, co-written by Johnson, David Diamond and David Weissman. Co-starring with Bell is Josh Duhamel (Transformers, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton). Also in the cast are Alexis Dziena, Jon Heder, Dax Shepard and Will Arnett.

Brendan Fraser (The Mummy) teams up with Harrison Ford (The Fugitive) in the CBS drama movie "Extraordinary Measures."

Extraordinary Measures is distributed by CBS Films and is scheduled for release on January 22, 2010. Aside from Fraser and Ford, the film also stars Keri Russell. This motion picture was shot in Beaverton, Oregon, Portland, and Vancouver, Washington. It is the first film to go into production for CBS Films, the film division of CBS Corporation.

Brendan Fraser plays John Crowley, a biotechnology executive, whose two youngest children were afflicted with Glycogen storage disease type II. Along with his wife, Aileen (Keri Russell), he raises money for research scientist Robert Stonehill (Harrison Ford) (representing Dr. William Canfield), forming a company to develop a drug to save his children’s lives.

Edge of Darkness - Mel Gibson

Mel Gibson plays a homicide detective in the upcoming film adaptation of the BBC TV series "Edge of Darkness." The film marks Gibson’s first starring role since 2002’s We Were Soldiers and Signs.

The film also stars Ray Winstone, and is directed by Martin Campbell and produced by Michael Wearing, who also directed and produced the series respectively. Edge of Darkness follows a detective (Mel Gibson) investigating the murder of his activist daughter (Bojana Novakovic), uncovering political conspiracies and cover-ups in the process.

Dear John comes to the screen under the direction of Lasse Hallstrom, the Swedish director and three-time Oscar nominee known for such films as My Life as a Dog (1985), What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), The Cider House Rules (1999), and Chocolat (2000).

The film follows the story of a Special Forces soldier, John Tyree (Channing Tatum), who uses a leave period to visit his father (Richard Jenkins) down in South Carolina. He falls for a conservative college student while he’s in his father’s home. John must go back to the army and he and Savannah (the student) communicate through letters, until fate takes a turn.

Plot: Thirty years ago, aliens made first contact with Earth. Humans waited for the hostile attack, or the giant advances in technology. Neither came. The creatures were set up in a makeshift home in South Africa's District 9 as the world's nations argued over what to do with them. Now, patience over the alien situation has run out. Control over the aliens has been contracted out to Multi-National United (MNU), a private company uninterested in the aliens' welfare - they will receive tremendous profits if they can make the aliens' awesome weaponry work. So far, they have failed; activation of the weaponry requires alien DNA. The tension between the aliens and the humans comes to a head when an MNU field operative, Wikus van der Merwe (Sharlto Copley), contracts a mysterious virus that begins changing his DNA. Wikus quickly becomes the most hunted man in the world, as well as the most valuable - he is the key to unlocking the secrets of alien technology.
